This was back in 2005, when internett was evolving and specific information had to dug out from the depths. It all begun with a Akai MPC 1000, then 2 x Technics SL1200 fitted with slipmats and Shure m44 pickups, a Vestax PCM 06 mixer and a pair of KRK Rokit 8 was added.

From the small town of Moss, a shitty town in Norway, the journey began. With no vinyl shops nearby, the vinyl hunt had to be directed towards flee markeds, family, adds on the primitive internett, shops abroad, random finds or record collections stacked in random lofts and basements. It was a struggle.

After scoring some boxes of vinyl, the hunt for the perfect sample started. But as it turn out, the perfect sample dosent exist, yet. It has to be rediscovered, borrowed from the past, reflecting a different era, harvesting a distant memory, written into vinyl by vibrational energy technology.
Its all about diving deep into frequencies and experimentation. Trial and errors. Hours of research with just one goal, making sounds that reflect human emotions.

This is what NSF is all about. Doing what you love, learning, evolving, understanding, experiencing.
